- AOIMSG (Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group) was the successor to the UAP Task Force, established by Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks on November 23, 2021. Its mission was to detect, identify, and attribute objects of interest in Special Use Airspace, with AOIMEXEC as its oversight council under the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security.
