An ISR platform operating over Iraq in September 2024 observed a UAP on IR sensors during an AGM-176 Griffin missile calibration shot, with the object transiting between munition release and impact, leaving unresolved whether a secondary object detached from a primary UAP.
This is the only disclosed case of possible direct interaction between a UAP and U.S. ordnance. The ambiguity, whether two objects or one splitting, cannot be resolved without sensor data attachments.
