This is Serial 153 of FBI Headquarters case file 62-HQ-83894, the enclosure transmitting two photographs of reputed flying saucers seen over Oak Ridge, Tennessee in July 1947 along with a Knoxville News-Sentinel clipping.
The pages route through the FBI Central Records Center under classification HQ file 0062-83894, Serial 153. The Knoxville field office file 65-11 forwarded to the Bureau two photographs of reputed flying saucers observed over the Oak Ridge, Tennessee area during July 1947, plus a photostatic copy of a Knoxville News-Sentinel clipping on the sightings. The clipping describes a Mr. Presley who photographed his house at 218 Illinois Avenue, Oak Ridge, then used his last frame to snap a shot of the mountain and captured what the paper calls a flying saucer. The paper states this was the first time a flying saucer had been photographed over Oak Ridge.
