On November 13, 2024 two House Oversight subcommittees held a joint UAP hearing chaired by Rep. Nancy Mace, hearing oral testimony from Rear Adm. (ret.) Tim Gallaudet, Luis Elizondo, Michael Shellenberger, and Michael Gold. During the hearing a 12-page Pentagon document about an unacknowledged special access program named 'Immaculate Constellation,' delivered to Congress by Shellenberger, was entered into the congressional record by Rep. Tim Burchett. Members cited AARO's figure of 171 of 366 reported sightings remaining 'uncharacterized,' criticized the Pentagon's six consecutive failed audits, and raised the December 2023 drone swarm over Langley Air Force Base. The transcript is published as Serial No. 118-135 by the U.S. Government Publishing Office.
