On March 6, 2026, eight members of the U.S. House of Representatives requested access to 51 potentially UAP-related records held by the Department of War and the Intelligence Community, and AARO identified responsive materials on a classified network, many lacking a substantiated chain-of-custody. AARO assesses this 47-second video is likely derived from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform operating in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility in November 2020, uploaded to a classified network in June 2024. AARO states the media was digitally altered prior to upload and is presented as received, showing an area of contrast that transits across the frame before losing distinctiveness against the background. The release stresses the description should not be read as any analytical judgment, investigative conclusion, or factual determination about the event.
