This FBI FD-302 records a 2026 interview with a U.S. Government Special Agent who reported seeing and recording two slow-moving black hot objects in the western United States after an RF detection alert.
The interviewee said he was alerted at approximately 1604 local time to an RF detection at 10K MSL for 5 to 10 seconds, then was asked to observe at a bearing of 58 degrees. Using a thermal optical device, he saw a black object in the sky, then a second object to its right, and captured photos or videos. The objects appeared to move together at the same speed, were described as black hot, and were observed for approximately 5 to 10 minutes before they moved out of view. The interviewee said he could not estimate altitude or speed, and page 2 states the photos were provided to an FBI Special Agent.
