An Air Force Special Operations Command mission report (MISREP) from a 29 to 30 July 2025 Operation Inherent Resolve sortie, logging a crew's sighting of six small spherical objects grouped together at an estimated 22,000 feet and 480 mph, released as the paper companion to infrared video DOW-UAP-PR135.
The 65th Special Operations Squadron (1st Special Operations Wing, AFSOC) filed this MISREP for a single-aircraft ISR mission under USCENTCOM that took off at 17:34Z on 29 July 2025 and landed at 14:11Z on 30 July. At 20:22:32Z, while transiting to a redacted destination and before arriving on station, the crew logged a UAP the form describes as "6X SMALL SPHERICAL OBJECTS GROUPED TOGETHER," agile and frequently changing direction, moving southeast at an estimated FL220 and 480 mph while the aircraft headed northwest at 120 knots indicated. Every kinematic value is marked "Estimated," the sensor-interrogation field reads "NO," and intelligent control, propulsion, and RF signature are all logged "UNKNOWN." Originally SECRET//NOFORN with a 2050 declassification date, the report was declassified on 10 July 2026 by Major General Richard A. Harrison, USCENTCOM Chief of Staff, and released by the Department of War alongside infrared footage DOW-UAP-PR135.
