DOW-UAP-PR131, Unresolved UAP Report, Iraq, 2022
A single declassified infrared still frame, submitted by U.S. Central Command to AARO, showing an unidentified object recorded in Iraq in 2022 and still carried as unresolved.
U.S. Central Command sent the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office one still frame from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military system, captured in Iraq in 2022. Per the release description, the frame holds two areas of contrast: one near the center of the display and one elongated shape in the top third trailed by what the description calls an effect consistent with image compression and processing rather than a physical feature. The accompanying mission report, DOW-UAP-D106, described the object as "flying sporadically" at speeds between 80 and 180 miles per hour, according to the release description; the frame itself carries no velocity data. Major General Richard A. Harrison, USCENTCOM Chief of Staff, declassified the page on 30 June 2026 under Mandatory Declassification Review cases 26-0084 to 26-0095, with FOUO and Privacy Act withholdings still in place.
