This Intelligence Information Report records a September 8, 2021 AC-130 crew observation of roughly 25 infrared UAP instances over the Gulf of Oman during a live-fire training sortie.
A USSOF AC-130 crew reported first seeing two cold orbs after dropping a water-activated flare as a mock target over the Gulf of Oman on September 8, 2021. The report says the objects were about four feet across, stationary 0 to 20 feet above the water for about 15 seconds, then moved out of the infrared sensor feed when the crew fired the aircraft's 105mm cannon. During the sortie, the crew reported about 25 UAP instances in infrared, including formations of two and three, erratic movement, and estimated speeds from 250 to 1,300 miles per hour. The report is an IIR, not finally evaluated intelligence, and it says the aircraft DVR failed, corrupting the attempted saved footage.
