DOW-UAP-PR118 is a Department of War release describing a 30-second secondary cellphone recording of an infrared sensor display from a U.S. Special Operations Forces AC-130J over the Gulf of Oman on September 8, 2021.
United States Central Command submitted this unresolved UAP report to AARO with 30 seconds of video footage from an AC-130J Gunship infrared sensor display. The release states that the footage is not native primary sensor data, because it was filmed from a display using a cellular device. The description says an area of contrast remains generally near the center of the sensor field of view and briefly leaves the bottom of the frame. The related Intelligence Information Report DOW-UAP-D101 describes the phenomena in the contemporaneous PR117 through PR122 footage as cold orbs about four feet in diameter.
