DOW-UAP-PR122 is a Department of War release describing a 26-second secondary cell-phone recording of an infrared sensor display aboard a U.S. Special Operations Forces AC-130J over the Gulf of Oman on September 8, 2021.
United States Central Command submitted this unresolved UAP report to AARO with 26 seconds of video from an AC-130J Gunship infrared sensor display. The release says the footage is not native primary sensor data because it is a cellular-device recording of a screen, which limits fidelity, resolution, and visual quality. The description says the footage overlaps significantly with DOW-UAP-PR121 and was captured contemporaneously with DOW-UAP-PR117 through DOW-UAP-PR122. An accompanying Intelligence Information Report, DOW-UAP-D101, describes the phenomena as cold orbs approximately four feet in diameter, but the AARO comment says the video description is informational only and not an analytical judgment or conclusion.
