United States Central Command submitted this unresolved UAP report to AARO with 16 seconds of video from a secondary cellular recording of an infrared sensor display, not native primary sensor data. The platform was a U.S. Special Operations Forces AC-130J Gunship operating in the Gulf of Oman on September 8, 2021. The release description states that DOW-UAP-PR117 through DOW-UAP-PR122 were captured contemporaneously, and that the related Intelligence Information Report DOW-UAP-D101 describes the phenomena as cold orbs approximately four feet in diameter. The video description says only that an area of contrast remained generally centered in the sensor field of view, and warns readers not to treat that description as an analytical judgment or conclusion.
