U.S. Indo-Pacific Command submitted this report to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO); the file is 57 seconds of footage from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform, recorded in 2023 in the Yellow Sea. Per the Department of War's release description, an "area of contrast" enters the frame from the bottom edge at 00:06, a rectangular focus box (a graphical element of the sensor system) appears at 00:08 while the sensor pans to track the contrast, and from 00:52 the platform's own geometry occludes the sensor and blocks the right side of the screen. The release carries no extracted text, no shape, size, range, or speed for the object, and no resolution; the description states it is "provided for informational purposes only" and reflects no analytical judgment. The file is labeled unresolved, and the description does not say why.
