U.S. Indo-Pacific Command submitted this unidentified anomalous phenomenon report to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), consisting of 4 minutes and 57 seconds of footage from an electro-optical and infrared sensor system aboard a U.S. military platform in 2023 over the Yellow Sea. The sensor tracks an area of contrast, switching between infrared and electro-optical daytime television modes, with the object appearing as a dark shape against a blue background at 01:04-01:10 and repeatedly leaving and re-entering the field of view. The footage quality progressively degrades, including a segment from 03:28-03:32 where the video appears to "skip," or lose coherence.
