U.S. Indo-Pacific Command submitted this unidentified anomalous phenomenon report to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, consisting of 1 minute and 46 seconds of footage from an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform in 2024 over the South China Sea. The sensor tracks an area of contrast, zooms in twice, and at 00:29 to 00:33 the target appears as a line of several areas of contrast moving across the field of view from bottom right to top left. From 00:34 to 01:44 the sensor pans to track the areas of contrast for roughly one minute as they become less distinct with increasing distance.
