The Navy's Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF) transferred this media to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) in 2022, and AARO released it as file DOW-UAP-PR109 on July 10, 2026. The clip runs 21 seconds and was likely captured by an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform in 2015; an area of contrast appears near center screen at 00:09, transits the field of view from right to left, and exits the upper left corner by 00:11, after which the footage repeats at slower speed. AARO states the media was digitally altered before being reported to the UAPTF and that no formal data-handling practices for UAP records existed at the time, so it is presented as received. The release carries no analytical judgment: AARO explicitly states the description should not be read as a conclusion about the event's validity, nature, or significance.
