United States Northern Command submitted this unidentified anomalous phenomenon report to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), consisting of one minute of infrared video from a sensor aboard a U.S. military platform in 2020. The footage shows several small areas of contrast entering and leaving the sensor field of view, an auto-tracking reticle locking onto one area of contrast from 00:22 to 00:41, a zoom-out at 00:42, and the object no longer visible by 00:50 as the display flickered while cycling contrast modes. The Department of War states the video description is provided for informational purposes only and reflects no analytical judgment, investigative conclusion, or factual determination about the event. The case remains unresolved.
