Ejército del Aire expediente on the November 1979 Manises incident: TAE Supercaravelle Flight JK-297 (Mallorca–Las Palmas) was forced to make an emergency landing at Manises airport on 11 November 1979 after the crew reported being paced by unidentified luminous objects. Two F-1 Mirage interceptors were scrambled from Los Llanos (Albacete). This is the most-cited UAP case in modern Spanish military aviation history and became the touchstone case for the 1992–1999 declassification programme.
